after a wonderful journey through Rajasthan, we arrived safely in Mumbai and the transport to Pune and Paud/college went well - heavy Monsoon rainfalls, quite a change after the dry heat in Rajasthan.
Now, we are back home and have many wonderful impressions and experiences along with the photographs.
We want to thank you for organizing this tour for our family. Everyone was pleased, the hotels were fine and quite an experience, and we enjoyed the journey beside from wonderful Rajasthan.
Especially, I want to let you know that we were very pleased with our driver. We did a two week Tour of Rajasthan, encompassing Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, and Udaipur with Pioneer Journeys Heritage Tours. Mr. Sharma arranged everything perfectly. The Drivers and Guides were competent and very obliging.
The Hotels selected, with some input from me, were all well up to our expectations. In general we were Very Happy with our Tour, and have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Sharma.
me and my friends had a fantastic trip around in Kerala. the guides and especial the driver did a great job, we saw so many things, but I only have 1 complaint, in Munnar i wanted to see a Hindu temple, but they told me many stories about holy day, many people and bla bla. So therefore they only did show me the smallest Hindu temple in India, but I have seen churches , churches and more churches.
I can only recommend you to all my friends here in Denmark.
I must write to confirm that we were absolutely delighted with all of the arrangements which you so kindly made for us throughout our five week stay in India. Pratap proved to be an extremely professional and proficient driver, conducting us calmly through the maelstrom of Indian traffic. Your city guides were all very good. Best of all, however, was your choice of hotels, which gave us a very good insight into the splendid Indian hospitality.

Just a brief comment on the trip you organized for us.
1) Everything went exactly as we had asked and you had planned - thank you. We also appreciate your extra effort to shorten the waiting time at Mumbai airport.
2) Drivers - Sing was very professional and pleasant. We always felt safe while he was driving. He gave us the impression, that he really wanted to render a service. Of course he did not forget to look after his own interest, but he did this in a nice way
- the 3 persons we had in the south were safe and polite drivers. Unfortunately we always felt like the object of potential exploitation (money), rather than a customer. This went as far as quite unpleasant discussions if this entrance fee was included in our contract, and did we want to do that, because it was not included. While the amounts in questions were petty, the atmosphere was tense most of the time. In some instances we paid our own entry for visits on the agenda !!
- in Tamil Nadu we had a small car first, which was very crowded, later they gave us a similar one like we had in Rajasthan
3) Hotels
With one exception (Jaipur) we were very happy with the accommodations
4) Overall service
We felt looked after by yourself all the time and we will certainly recommend you to our friends interested to visit India.

I want to thank you so much for the perfect journey. I truly felt I was immersed in India. I got to see it from a personal view, not a tourist view. I wandered through your history and could imagine what it was like back in the ancient world. We had some spectacular hotels and hope I will one day revisit them. One particular one is the Taj Connemara in Chennai. I am thinking I would return to Chennai next year - I love the city and of course the hotel. I also loved the Amar Mahal in Orchha, the Usha Kiran Palace in Gwalior and the Little Tibet Resort in Darjeeling very much. So for all the people in all areas who added something to make my trip perfect, I am so grateful. And to you, who like the orchestra leader made perfect music come together. I hope they all enjoyed our journey together as much as I have.

I was in India for 6 days, visiting the classic Golden Triangle route. Mr. Lau arranged a knowledgeable guide and a comfortable van for my trip. It really helps to make my India visit more easy and enjoyable. I visited the step wells, which is recommended and I am really impressed. The guide told me a lot about local culture and he took us to a real local market, there we met many curious and smiling faces. It was a pleasant and unforgettable trip!

在整個印度旅程中，最令我有驚喜的算是入住當地的特色酒店。例如由過去貴族大宅改建而成的Haveli，具有濃厚的印度建築特色，以及令人賓至如歸的英式款待。另外就是入住一由過去皇家獸獵場改建而成的酒店，可以近距離觀看梅花鹿，和溫馴的馬匹接觸，以及置身鳥語花香之中，讓人忘卻煩憂。也感謝我們的司機Sher Singh先生，他善良和良好的架駛技術，讓我們有安心和愉快的12日行程。我們也很開心遇到在一很好的導遊，特別是Udaipur的導遊，他專業的知識讓我們知道更多關於Rajasthan的人和事，還有在Jodhpur的導遊，他熱情的幫助，讓我們還拍到很美的照片，也讓我們買到喜愛的手信(Pashmina和Cashmere披肩、香料和印度特色的皮鞋)，最重要是不用疲於講價還價，這實在是一件很費體力精神的事。

人說平安就是福，出國旅遊那麼多地方，深深覺得出門在外，最重要的就是平安健康，司機SHER具備專業駕駛技術、友善誠實正直幽默的個性，彷彿自家兄弟也像貼身保鏢，這份安心及信任是無價的。
一路上所遇到的導遊，個個資深熱情友善，甚是有博學的大學教授，面對我們的好奇總是非常有耐心的回答，充分感受到導遊們自豪於自己國家歷史文化風景，讓我們對印度的風土民情有更深一層認識。
當行程有小疑問時，當地代表總是有效率的反應。尤其是有如英國貴族紳士的大老闆Mr. Anil三不五時以手機叮嚀我們注意事項，就像是VIP，是家人一樣。

印度的歷史文化，印度的風景，印度的人們，印度的美食�..8天（2009.05.01-2009.05.08） ，出發前覺得是長假。然而關於印度，只是序幕，驚鴻一瞥那薄紗下的一角，還有好多地方想去。等不及要預約下次的行程了！
回國後，對我的印度旅遊感興趣的親友，與他們分享旅途趣聞外，也推薦Pioneer Journeys安排與服務。對於不想跟團，也不想當刻苦的背包客的人，Pioneer Journeys是很好的選擇！
大概從8、9年前某次無聊的員工旅遊被關在馬來西海邊度假村看到電視播出的寶萊塢電影後，我就一頭栽入印度寶萊塢炫麗世界。從此開始花了大把時間觀看寶萊塢電影、大把銀子在台灣學習寶萊塢舞蹈。我說的一口好印度，讓大家以為我去過印度好幾次，但今年夏天我才真正踏上印度。
為了一圓自己的印度夢，首先我惦惦自己的斤兩，肯定不是個去印度自助行的料。查詢了台灣的旅行社，卻對行程不滿意。雖然Pioneer Journeys之前並未聽過，抱著姑且一試的心情詢問看看，沒想到價格可以接受，而比起一般旅行社要遊客配合制式行程不同，Pioneer Journeys是讓行程配合遊客。
回來之後朋友問我對好玩嗎？我常語塞，不知要從我最愛的各式餅類、咖哩、香料奶茶天天吃不完，回來肥半圈開始說嗎？回來後，去上第一堂舞蹈課時，同學說我胖了。嗚嗚嗚～表示在印度我們吃得很好。還是看到俊男美女、身處電影拍攝的風景名勝，就幻想自己置身寶萊塢電影場景一般開心？然後，在名勝古蹟前，印度遊客找我們拍照，我們也把握機會找穿著紗麗的當地美女或轉著一雙骨碌碌大眼的可愛孩子拍照。或是應該要先跟朋友談起，身處泰姬瑪哈陵想著它背後的愛情故事，以及為建造它的血腥事實，這個每個人一生至少該造訪一次景點嗎？或者應該說每個女團員穿起紗麗都變漂亮、感覺都不一樣了嗎？說住城堡飯店，光參觀房間就花半小時以上，住在裡面讓團員各個以為自己是公主��。通常我最後只能微笑說，很好啊！
這趟旅程在尚未出發前，我就知道大家一定會有美好回憶，因為行前每當我硬著頭皮提出自己都覺得是奧客的各式疑問、要求，Ruby都會非常有耐性、盡量幫我們安排，並且快速的回覆。讓團員們在印度的最後一天就開始問我下次要再去印度哪裡？而許多這次因時間、工作、家裡狀況等無法參加的朋友，紛紛跟我說下次去印度要找他們。下次去印度哪裡呢？交給Pioneer Journeys就對了！

First, I am sorry to have taken so long to write and thank you for organising my trip. I arrived back in Australia in early March and have been working immense hours (at least 70 hours a week from March-July, including in the USA). I also suffered a catastrophic failure of my computer several days after arriving back in Australia, which meant I could not access the correspondence we had prior to my trip (which I refer to below). The computer and data were finally restored on Friday last week. Against this backdrop, it is not until now that I have had the opportunity to sit down and write thoughtfully. I knew you had the positive written feedback on the form I had left with Laxman at the end of my journey, but I had wanted to write more fully. So I do sincerely apologise for not emailing sooner.
Second, I would like to thank you very much for organising an excellent trip to India. Laxman was superb. He is a skilled driver, and an honourable, intelligent man. He took great care of me and I couldn't have been happier with my driver. Thank you very much indeed for organising Laxman for my trip.

Apologies for taking so long to get in touch. I have at long last returned back home from all my travels. India is still by far the best trip to date. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you for an amazing trip. Your professional and friendly approach is carried through by all your representatives threw out India. As you are aware we were incredibly nervous, however you put our fears to rest and showed us a phenomenally beautiful country which is only outshined by the beautify of its people.
I have given your name and number to everyone who is now interested in going to India after hearing about the fabulous trip you put together for my mother and me. I tell everyone that India is a country you need to experience since words are insufficient to described it.
Once again, thank you so much for a wonderful experience and there is no doubt in my mind that I will be back in India one day. Its a country that now calls to me, even though I am home.

The Pick-ups and collections at hotels and airports were flawless, the Guides were all brilliant, pleasant young men, passionate about their beautiful country and extremely well informed and showed interest in us and in our well being, we never felt insecure when crossing roads or walking in the labyrinths of some of the older cites.

Well, we are back safe and sound in Dubai after our wonderful trip to Rajasthan. We had a great trip and were very happy that we had Surendra as our driver. He was a very safe driver, very focused on his duties, yet very friendly and patient and was always there for us. He was punctual and always had a smile on his face. Also, he was quite humorous and we had some good laughs with him.
All in all it was a great trip and we saw and did lots, and got a good insight into the culture. Maybe one day we will return, though I think our next trip to India will be to the Kerala area, and we will contact you then.
Thanks again for arranging such a great trip and for arranging, on quick notice, for Surendra to drive us.

Well, we are safely back in South Africa after wonderful experiences in India! We had a marvelously stimulating time due principally to your excellent organization. Everything went extremely smoothly and we felt cared for and protected. The quality of your drivers and guides was very high - we returned with minds buzzing with knowledge of Indian history, fascinating sights and impressions.
I think we are all going to remember Shantan in particular for his dedicated care - I can still see him shepherding us during our shopping sprees and guiding us by hand across busy streets like four ducks in a row. What a special person!

Everything was so well organized, lovely hotels and great drivers and guides.
We especially appreciated the dinner your wife arranged for us at a restaurant in Mumbai near our hotel – Trident Nariman.
The food everywhere we had on our trip was delicious but the meal we had at this restaurant was outstanding!
The chicken starter pieces and the curried vegetables particularly were wonderful!
If they would ever part with their ingredients for these I would love to know the recipes!!
