Visiting Agra Fort

This majestic fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akabar between 1565 to 1573.Agra fort is situated on the west bank of river Yamuna and northwest of famous monument Taj Mahal. It is built of red sandstone. Agra fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 and initially known as walled city. Mughal emperor Shah Jahan said to have deposed and restrained by his own son Aurangjeb in the fort where he spent last eight years of his life, looking at Taj. Excursion to Fatehpur Sikri

Fatehpur sikiri is popularly known as “The Ghost City” or “abandoned City” situated 40 km from Agra. The construction of Fatehpur Sikri started by Mughal emperor Akbar in 1570 in an honor of Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chisti. It took 15 years for Emperor to complete the structure but he had to leave the city due the lake of water and also of the proximity to the Rajput province. The city of Fatehpur Sikri is an imperial city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. The architectural grandeur of this deserted city cannot be described in words and one can only experience the aura of its magnificent edifices by seeing them.
