Tour Overview

Day 01

Arrive Trivandrum

Arriving Trivandrum, you will clear customs and immigration. Leaving the airport, you will be met by our representative, holding a placard with your name on it in the arrival lounge. After arrival you will check-in into resort. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Kovalam beach on your own. You can also take a walk along the rustic countryside. Photograph your family with the back ground of beach and waves. Watch sun set in the Arabian sea. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02

Kovalam - Pandmanabhapuram - Kanyakumari – Kovalam

After breakfast we take you to full day excursions to nearby places. Visit Padmanabhapuram Palace which was once the seat of the rulers of Travancore, a princely state for more than 400 years which included a large part of present day Kerala and the Western coast of Tamil Nadu.

visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial which is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, a disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, the founder of Ramakrishna Mission. Vivekananda Rock Memorial was built between 1963 and 1970 in red and blue granite.

Also visit Kumari Amman Temple whichis dedicated to virgin Goddess Parvathi & is located on the shore. The Diamond nose-ring of this deity is famous for its sparkling splendor, which is supposed to be visible even from the sea. Later on visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial which is one among the frequented tourist attractions in Kanyakumari. The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial was built to honour Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.The Memorial was built in 1956, in the Orissa temple architectural style. In the evening watch the most beautiful Sunset of Kanyakumari.Leave Kanyakumari by dusk and back to Kovalam. Overnight at resort. (Breakfast)

Day 03

Kovalam

After breakfast full day at leisure at beach side area. Kovalam is one of the loveliest beaches in the world.  Overnight at resort. (Breakfast)
Day 04

Kovalam – Kollam – Cochin

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Cochin. En-route visit Kollam which was formerly called "Desinganadu". During the rule of the Travancore kingdom in southern Kerala, Kollam was the focal point of trade. It is believed that the era was started by Nestorian Christian merchants who settled in KorukeNi kollam, near to the present Kollam. Kollam is supposed to be one of the state's oldest ports and hub of international spice trade. Arrive Cochin and check-in into hotel. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 05

Kovalam – Manarcad – Cochin

After an early breakfast full day excursion to Manarcad Perunnal which is the annual feast at the St. Mary’s church at Manarcad, Kottayam, Kerala. It is known as Ettunombu Perunnal or eight day prayer and fasting. The devotees who observe the fast stay at the church from morning till night. The main offering of the church is made in the form of Muthukkuda (highly decked parasols). On the last three days of the Perunnal there will be processions carrying golden crosses and thousands of devotees accompany this with colourful embellished umbrellas. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 06

Cochin – Alleppey (Kerala Houseboat)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey which is one of the most important tourist centers in the Kerala state, with a large network of inland canals earning it the sobriquet "Venice of the east".  On arrival board a houseboat for a cruise through the backwaters of Kerala. On the boat ride, enjoy magnificent scenery of these palm-shaded backwaters. Spend the evening on board the house boat enjoying the exciting night life in the lake, the outstanding food and royal service. Enjoy a good night sleep under star and moon light in the house boat. Overnight on the houseboat. (Breakfast/Lunch/dinner)
Day 07

Kumarakom – Cochin

After breakfast disembark and attend tourism Snake Boat Race. Scores of long snake boats and other smaller crafts participate in these events. The largest team sport in the world, the snake boat races are preceded by colourful water parades. In the late afternoon drive to Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check-in into hotel. Overnight at hotel. (Breakfast)
Day 08

Cochin (Departure)

After breakfast check-out from the hotel and take a short drive to Thrissur. Arrive Thrissur and see Pulikali dancers putting on make-up.

In the afternoon see Pulikali Parade. Puli Kali also known as Kaduvakali is a colorful recreational folk art from the state of Kerala. It is performed by trained artists to entertain people on the occasion of Onam, an annual harvest festival, celebrated mainly in the Indian state of Kerala. On the fourth day of Onam celebrations (Nalaam Onam), performers painted like tigers and hunters in bright yellow, red, and black dance to the beats of instruments like Udukku and Thakil. Literal meaning of Pulikali is the ‘play of the tigers’ hence the performance revolve around the theme of tiger hunting. In the evening transfer to Cochin airport to catch flight back to home. (Breakfast)
